We all know people we’d heard of before we met them, but I sensed Paul before I’d heard of him. I walked into a room where Emma was and as soon as I saw her, I knew something different had happened to her. When I had a chance to investigate, I found that the something was Paul. 
Paul was the only man whose face lit up like a woman’s when I told him I was expecting my first child, at Samhain 2008.
I love Paul, and I especially love Paul’s and Emma’s love for each other and for their children. It’s been a strange world for many of us at times, and that made it a richer place. I’m sad that Paul doesn’t live in our world with us any more, but we live with that love still, and it’s a gift.
